Is there anyway to fix this? Can you guys release a fixer for this. I want to use adhoc :(

How/why would you change your MAC address in the first place? nevermind, you can just reconfigure your router to accept the new Machine Access Code. also how could that possibly prevent adhoc wireless use?

It dident change it really, it just made it say a combination i wanted it to say, but that made adhoc not work....

well then all you need to do is set it back to an alphanumeric string recognizable as a MAC address (that is group of 6 hexidecimal digits seperated by colons) weather this is something you set or not is inconsequential. MAC addresses are not really unique and so long as it is 6 groups of 2 digits whatever you set it two should work fine.

omg this happened to me and i just figured out how to fix. go to network settings and then infrastructure and test connection. after you connect you will receive a list of info (ssid, ip, etc..) and MAC adress. just copy it down then flash it back

the MAC address is specific to psp and wifiboard. th mac address in the idstorage must match the one embedded in the wifi board or adhoc wont work. by editing the idstorage key you can change it in the vsh but not physically in the wifiboard
