Question about M33 fmw on import PSP

I've got a Japanese PSP2000 coming, so is there any thing I should know about before attempting to install M33?

I've been modding consoles for years, but this is my first PSP. I have access to everything needed to perform the installation, I'm just not comfortable doing this unless I know it is going to work.

Don't worry ... M33 firmware can be installed on any type of PSP.

I agree with Ivec. The hardware stays the same, only the encoded Region Settings are different. And that can be changed with the Recovery Menu. So just go ahead and install the cfw 3.60 M33 on your PSP Slim & Light from Japan.
