[To HM33] An idea to help stop leaking

I think to help stop leaking you should make the M33 firmware exclusive to only PSPX forums. That way only members will be able to download your firmware so it's more secure. And also what you can do in your next release is tell the community in the post that this is how it's going to work now and say you must be a member. Once again, it's just an idea!

anybody would have access to it if all they had to do was register, and after downloading they could just upload it to some other site so I don't think that would work....:(
What would be great is a really good encryption... Like coding it in russian or something lol, but I dont think thats possible :(

Unfortunatly, it wont work.
On our forum, we have about 60 000 registred accounts and i'm pretty damn sure that someone will post link and password on a different web site.

also, the end executable is all that m33 post's, they dont post the source codes so it doesn't make a difference...

You don't really get what it was meant by leak right? The releasing of the firmware doesn't harm it alot unless sony unpack it and analyze it, but a source code(uncompiled/in raw code). Is easily analyzed and easily patchable.

Yes but they could 256 bit secure with there programing that would slow who ever tries to Steal the raw codes:diablo:. Plus I always say CUT OFF THERE HANDS IF THEY STEAL. I hate thieves :dwarf:
