Installing future 3.71M33 on slim without pandora battery/memstick, possible?

I have a PSP Slim with 3.71 OFW, when the 3.71M33 CFW comes out, will it be released as a fake OFW update or do i have to buy/create a pandora battery/memstick? I am hoping it will be released as a fake OFW update. I do not have the items needed to create the pandora battery/memstick, and i am afraid of buying stuff from the internet.

From previous experiences it is most likely that you will need to create a Pandora battery to install the firmware.

If you have an OFW (3.71) then the security on the firmware either needs to be broken or bypassed. As there is no known exploit of 3.60 or 3.71 OFWs it leaves the Pandora battery option to bypass the firmware altogether.

It is probably for the best to start organizing yourself and working out how and where to get a Pandora battery and memory stick in advance if you want a CFW on your slim.

Well, as previous CFW's I highly doubt it will be a customized update as it's never been like that. You also should've already known not to upgrade if you wanted CFW installed. They've never gone from OFW to CFW directly. Even 3.60 needed Pandora so I bet 3.71CFW for the slim will also need Pandora.

Last is you should've waited and seen what was needed to install. You probably need 3.60 M33 installed first so I bet your SOL.

Unless an exploit is found which lets us access the kernel you will have to use Pandora.
