I have had a problem with m33 2-4 updates
When I set a wallpaper up it for some reason activates hard reset, this isn't a huge problem since I can just not use a wallpaper but it resets all my settings and I need to go back to recovery and change them, and when I do change them if I had a wallpaper set up its no longer there... I do not under stand why it does this...

No problems with wallpapers on 3.52 M33-4 here

Probably youv got a semi brick :(

try going into Recovery Menu>Advanced>Format Flash1 and Reset Settings. That might fix your problem.

Ok edit, after flashing it 1 once it was worse but after flashing it again it worked fine, thank you for the idea

@ HM33 - When I insert a foreign region UMD Video the psp displays the 'wrong region' error message in the XMB and it freezes if i try to rip the disc to my pc. I was just wondering if it would make any difference if the umd ripper could be run from the recovery menu instead? Also, if the PSP can tell the difference between a game umd and a movie umd, then could it be possible to temporarily trick the psp into thinking a video umd is a game disc instead? If games are multi-region then we would be able to rip the foreign region video disc and then play it back as an iso.
