For the popstation people who don't want to take the time to dump the respective EBOOTS to get the popsman3xx.prx/etc files needed for the new popsloader for 3.52 M33-4...enjoy and dont forget to bang on that +karma

use this folder POPSLOADER to replace the one found in ms0:/SEPLUGINS/

NOTE: if you're going to be using the older fw version of pops (i.e. 3.10) then you NEED the keys.bin file to be included in the PSX game folder you are trying to play...

Isn't it a little bit illegal to put those Sony's copyrighted prx here?

this is a little complicate, it is illegal to post sony's prx files, BUT here they are not directly post, it is only a link to a site you can download it.

So the other site containes illegal files, but her in the forum it's everthing legal.

actually the site rules only state no links to ISOs...heres the whole rules post:

Well, i think that giving links to illegal stuff is a same illegal as keeping them on own server. knuckles84, you are an active member of maxconsle forums, is giving those kind of links leagal there?

yes lets leave your comments to yourself and leave it to the moderators...but i READ the site rules BEFORE posting it so i don't see the problem here...

besides, if you don't want to use the link then don't...but don't make a big scene by having some sort or moral superiority complex...if its illegal they'll get to it eventually and take it down...

i don't know, but they exist. But if we became so sensible, what must we do with all the Costum XMB files, there are all Modified Sony files, or not??
i don't think that someone has make for exemple a vshmain.prx from himself!!

It's easy to say, when your doing it on someones site. No responsibility for you at all. All I'm trying to say, is that all world is now closly watching M33 and PSPx.ru as well. So they should by more careful than usual. We all now why probably DAX left the scene.

Ok, enough oftopics, cureo I respect your work, I exactly now how much time it takes to decrypt prx's of all needed psars.


And one correction: playing on 3.10 pops DOES NOT require KEYS.BIN, just checked it. Obviously you need a game coverted with lastes version of pops (for example with PS GUI 3.0)

I have already dumped mine well..

all using the square button to dump and decrypt at the same time....

but using 3.40 it locks up trying to use that option. I ended up using X instead and used that for mine...but the quality of the game isn't quite as good...

What option did you use to dump yours?

thats weird that it doesn't need the keys.bin because when i tried ff7 i had to use the keys.bin in order for it to work...go figure.

to erland: its a long process but short story- i had to downgrade to 1.5 then go up to 3.40OE and access the flash0...sucked to do!

keys.bin is not need since 3.03 OE-C (or something around that version). But if you have game converted with older version of popstation, keys.bin is need even on newer firmwares. I always convert with Popstation Gui 3.00 beta, adn all my games work on any pops version (3.10 - 3.52) without keys.bin

But I don't have FF7, maybe it depends on game?

hmm, i'll have to try that version of popstation gui, now that i think about it it had been some time since i had converted that game...i dont even think it had compression on it now that i think about it even more... =/

nah i don't think there will be one, just wait til tomorrow if you've already passed your limit, OR you could use a proxy which sometimes works, OR if you have a dynamic IP you can release your IP and get a new one which will trick rapidshare into thinking you're a seperate computer...

theres lots of way, besides its less than 6MBs...

btw guys... do u realy thing that sony will blame someone for posting part of their firmware? reverse engineering and all custom stuff for firmware r illegal, but nobody cares, it makes life easy) Sony`s copyrighted prx? r u kidding? ))) Nobody realy cares if somebody will post some Sony`s prx, or even full firmware! Actualy its vialation of Sony`s rights when u, me or any other guy, decrypting some modules, making some hexediting and messing with firmware... but as i said, nobody cares, sony will not say 2 u "c ya in da court" the only guys who realy risking are reversers\moders from C+D\Noobz and M33... but seems that sony dont fighting with em, bcoz all that acts n stuff expanding psp features and making psp much more popular n helping to sell more psp units.... so looks like sony actualy semi-fighting with firmware hacks, they just trying 2 prevent massive piracy, but they understand that homebrew is one of the keys of psp popularity) Also this is russian forum, so here nobody cares twice)))
